about us

Our Mission

In 2004, a group of dedicated Filipino-American professionals in the real estate, lending, and title industries established FAREPA (Filipino-American Real Estate Professionals Association, Bay Area, Inc) a California-registered civic organization. Our primary mission is to promote sustainable homeownership, encourage professional growth among real estate and housing industry professionals, service our communities, and facilitate homeownership education.

  • Serve and strengthen the community.
  • Increase business opportunities for mortgage and real estate professionals.
  • Provide homeownership education.

OUR STORY

The Filipino American Real Estate Professional Association is the largest Filipino-American real estate organization in the United States. In 2004, FAREPA Bay Area became a new branch of the original association. Our association promotes professional networking, educational workshops, and community outreach within San Francisco and the Bay Area Peninsula.

Over the years, we have initiated endeavors such as programs for first-time homebuyers, education for real estate professionals, seminars providing updates on real estate laws, outreach collaborations, and engaging events.

Our fundraising efforts have benefited organizations such as HIP Housing, Toys for Tots, and Society of St. Vincent de Paul. HIP Housing empowers families and individuals in San Mateo County to live happier, more independent and self-sufficient lives through innovative housing and mentoring programs that help break the cycle of poverty and end homelessness.

FAREPA Bay Area takes great pride in embodying “Bayanihan,” a concept that signifies the essence of collective unity, collaboration, and work to accomplish a shared objective. Our commitment lies in empowering our members to foster a unified voice within the real estate industry.
